Homework — Lesson 08
Two tasks · ~30 minutes · Your own phone and meetings
Task 1 — Audit your phone
Review the permissions granted to your most-used apps and the radios currently enabled. Remove or restrict at least three things (an unused app, an over-broad permission, an always-on radio you don't need).
✓ Self-check: you can name three specific changes you made and what each one was leaking or exposing.
Task 2 — Write your meeting device rule
Draft the one-line rule you will enforce for sensitive meetings you own: whether phones come in, where they go, and in what state.
✓ Self-check: your rule is specific and enforceable, and it treats "absent" as different from "off."
Task 3 (optional) — Consider lockdown mode
If you are a high-risk principal, investigate your device's high-security lockdown/isolation mode and note what it disables and whether the trade-off is worth it for you.
✓ Self-check: you can state what lockdown mode turns off and one situation where you would enable it.
